meant to write earlier, friday went to Long Island City last week with l. Twas fun, she had to drop off a project in process, then we explored the neighborhood first going to the Shannen Pot for a brown cafe lunch- which was quite nice then went to P.S.1 - very cool! Also near the train there was what seemed like a graffiti garden- I want to go back.
this morning woke up from a strange dream with a call from the gothic cabinet people - yay! new bookshelf has arrived. Not positive yet but am considering staining it- maybe a green or some other dark stain. well the dream was me in a food court, lots of different types of food full of a bunch of people I didn't know. I was drawn to the lo-mein so I got on line ordered a plate and then was directed to stand on another line. As I was standing on line I asked the gentlemen in front of me if this was the line to Rome and he responded no! you are way off you need to go a mile up the road and you better go fast. I turn and run out the door and start running with the noodles on the plate then in my hands they were kind of dropping all over the place as i was running past men in armor
