Got to sleep last nite just shy probably about 20 minutes to 4 in the morning. Can't get myself to sleep early I suppose as some say I am a night owl. I wonder are there day owls? it seems oddly specific to say night owl, cause aren't all owls night? Lately with the sewing I have been focusing on the blue canvas and it has evolved a great deal. Started the feather galaxy which is possibly going too far and getting silly, may need to reign it back in, but for now gonna plow forward into kitchville. Feel like I have been spending quite a bit of time alone I guess sewing for 10 hour increments can do that. haven't seen A since last week but we have plans for tomorrow. Tried to get to the theater last night but instead sewed and watched lost with the cats. Gus and I had a discussion that with the inscriptions in the architecture and all, there may be possible mayan or incan connection and the dark smoke was Ben's "death experience" or "rite of passage" we have already witness a few of those - Locke- hell all of them really if you think of the impact of being on a crashing plane more than once- ooh that island is wiley.
Have noticed there has been no mail for quite a few days. So I figured the landlord never had given the new key (cause someone tried to break in and broke the previous lock) to the postal person. Probably because I am either a pushover or a go-getter this morning I somehow end up making a copy of the key and am at the past office. As I walked in I knew it was somehow going to be a pain in the ass it being the post office and all but felt maybe i need to look at it as an experience being out of the house and around people for a change after days of hermitage. Waiting on the first line i was behind this guy and he has on one of those cross necklaces that they start to sell after midnight, the one where you can look into the peephole and there is the "lord's prayer" first I couldn't believe anyone would actually buy, such a thing let alone wear it. This individuals phone rings and he begins to bitch about his boss a women who has "a brain that walks" and "has no common sense" "she is crazy and not in the fun way" and a long line of explaining how much he did not like this woman- I'd rather not judge but that necklace i find it to be saying something i am just not sure what and his bitchy behavior didn't seem that christ-like. Finally after standing on another line then told to wait over there, I spoke to the superviser and he grabbed the key and now am hoping I will be getting my Netflix soon- that is really what got me moving this morning Netflix and a new movie.
Is lovely out but my apartment is still chilly. Would like finish up some cleaning work on the business plan then go for a walk.
